bouncing back is hard to do...

Obviously I have not been posting much lately. Between lack of deals (I have over $100 in expired ECB now) and being on vacation through yesterday, I'm exhausted. BUT: CVS this week was well worth the go-around. Here's my haul, I picked up a third card while on vacation, figured why not....

60 soy joy @ $1 each (for every 4, get $4 ECB so FREE) -limit 20 bars per card (only used a few b1g1 Qs because I needed to roll so many expired ECB)
6 thermacare neck $2.49 each (FAECB) limit 2
3 Always infinity pads $4.99 each - $4Q from last P&G insert = $.99 each! I wish I had more than 3Qs!
3 Dr. Pepper 2 liters $1.25 each - FREE Q
5 Huggies Clean team soap on clearance for $1 - $1 Q = FREE
5 Renuzit beads clearance for $1- $.75 Q = $.25 each

Total PROFIT= $6.54!

(I finally tried one of these, the almond raisin flavor, and goodness, I need to get rid of 59 bars now! I have tried to like them, but I DON'T!!)

I love reading your deals but I have one small problem. The CVS cards are 1 per household. I don't think it is right or fair for you to have 3. If we don't treat their system right they may just do away with it. So please reconsider how many cards you use.

    Thanks for all the comments!
First off, yes I did have to get rid of a lot of expired ECB (which most my stores take anyways) and some expired RR (with a lot of charm, worked). Walgreen's is a lot harder to keep up with because of their two week expiry on RR.

Eileen - You mention me taking so much, but actually these ARE for three households, my grandmother, me, and my parents. It's hard no matter what. For those soy joy I had to go to 8 stores in two different states 1500 miles apart, and I don't wipe stores out.

Other times, I myself get nothing when I go to try. Like last week's St. Ive's deal at Walgreen's. I had 10 coupons ready but found not a single bottle on the shelves...

And finally, the ridiculousness- It's a FUN hobby but at some point, yes, what do I do with all this stuff. If it is something I use and won't go bad, I keep it. Others, like all that Bertolli, Joint Juice and Fuze, I donated. I supply 4 houses with stuff they want and need. :]

Missed you SI, glad to see you back in the game! Hope to steal some ideas off you soon. BTW, I hear ducks really like the Soy Joy(as a last resort!)

I successfully sold all my SoyJoy bars at my yard sale - $0.25 each
We made over $700 in the first day of our sale just from stockpiled free items - needless to say my hubby doesn't complain when I bring home stuff anymore.
AND I also supply 5+ households including my own with whatever they need. My mother in law is no longer shy about coming over and asking for deoderant, toothpaste or dishsoap and I caught my 11 year old bragging about our toilet paper cabinet the other day ;)

that is fantastic and so exciting about your sale!!

I can't seem to even get rid of the soy joy for free! My DF will eat them but we have so many it'll take forever.

I know this post is a couple month old, but are you still trying to get rid of the soy joys?
