You're the bomb! I want to pick your brain and understand how you do this. Where are you located? Can we talk?

i'm in Houston, TX. Have you visited Hot Coupon World or Slickdeals yet? I am on both sites all the time. The people in the chat room on HCW are very friendly and can always help newcomers get the deals down.

What promotion were your RR from?

Many of the Walgreens RR these days say they exclude gift cards & prepaid cards.

The RRs I have right now from P&G and from Wyeth both have this restriction on them. So, I am not able to use them to purchase a gift card.

they were from the robitussin deal.
Since I was buying so many items, it appeared my RR were "buying" the other items and the GC just ate the overage. Like I said, this was the first time I tried it, and the cashier allowed it. I have heard its very YMMV. But if you have a ton of RR sitting around, you may want to try like I did. All they can do is say no!

I just have a question, since this is all so new to me and I want to save some money this year...what if I don't buy cake mix, soda, pop tarts, cough syrup and so many of the items I see in your photos. How can I find great deals on produce and fruit and ingredients to prepare my food fresh / homemade? I must be missing something!! thanks for you advice!!

Well now about produce and other natural ingredients, many others I know join local groups that connect growers with buyers. There are community farmers markets in a lot of places that can offer natural products. Most grocery stores won't have huge deals on organics although you can always follow www.organicgrocerydeals.com to be sure you are getting the best prices in your area. Produce is one thing I am willing to spend $$ on because there are no coupons for them.

I wish I could turn my CVS ECB's into giftcards. Have you ever tried it there?
